What Makes A Good Name?Good names get harder to find each day. A good name is one that helps solve an immediate challenge – but over the long run, doesn't box the company, product or service in. A good name helps you stand out. Ideally, a good name is short. Easy to remember, say and spell. And communicates something of value about the thing named – even if that something is only a feeling or impression. It may also have to fit into a family of names. When General Baking changed its name to Sara Lee, it also changed its fortunes. Here are a few of the names we've helped create over the years.
